1.0 Introduction

 

The San Andreas Department of Transportation (SADOT) is a dedicated team committed to maintaining the infrastructure of the Omega Roleplay FiveM server, ensuring safe and efficient transportation for all players. We strive to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and realism in our operations.

 

 

 

2.0 General Operating Procedures

 

 

 

2.1 Personnel Conduct

Adhere to all applicable server rules, regulations, and traffic laws.

Maintain a realistic and immersive roleplay experience.

Conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner towards all players, regardless of rank or affiliation.

Avoid any actions that could disrupt the server or harm the reputation of the department.

 

 

2.2 Uniform and Equipment

Wear the appropriate uniform and equipment as specified by department guidelines.

Ensure that all equipment is in proper working order and maintained regularly.

Use department-issued tools and equipment responsibly and ethically.

 

 

2.3 Vehicle Maintenance

Conduct regular preventative maintenance on all SADOT vehicles.

Address vehicle repairs and overhauls promptly and efficiently.

Source and manage vehicle parts and components responsibly.

Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records for each vehicle.

 

 

2.4 Communication

Utilize designated communication channels (e.g., Discord) effectively and efficiently.

Respond promptly to all inquiries and requests.

Use in-game communication channels appropriately, adhering to real-world communication protocols and 10-codes. To access the in-game radio, type /setradioagency DOT(DOT MUST be all caps)

 

 

2.5 Safety

Prioritize player safety and avoid causing accidents or disruptions.

Follow real-world safety procedures and regulations.

Report any road hazards or issues immediately to the appropriate authorities.

Specific Division Procedures

 

 

2.6 Road Maintenance

Develop comprehensive construction plans, including traffic management strategies, environmental impact assessments, and cost estimates.

Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to real-world safety standards.

Procure high-quality materials and supplies for road construction and maintenance.

Obtain necessary permits and approvals for road projects.

 

 

2.7 Towing and Impound Services

Tow stranded or damaged vehicles safely and efficiently.
(Controls: Left Shift and Left Ctrl to Raise/lower Bed “B” to attach vehicle)

 

Manage impounded vehicles according to server rules and regulations.

Conduct routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on SADOT towing equipment.

 

 

2.8 Additional Procedures

Implement effective traffic management plans during road construction or accidents.

Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents or hazardous materials spills.

Engage with the public and address concerns related to road maintenance and towing services.

Collaborate with other departments and agencies to coordinate transportation efforts and ensure the overall safety of the server.

Conduct oversized load escorts (if applicable), following specific guidelines and procedures.

Operate sign trucks and wrecker rotators safely and efficiently.

Utilize designated tow yard access codes and follow specific procedures for vehicle storage and retrieval.

 

 

2.9 Rules and Regulations

Adhere to all specific rules and regulations outlined in the department's guidelines.

Prioritize safe driving practices and avoid reckless or unrealistic behavior.

Use emergency lights and sirens appropriately, following real-world protocols.
Sirens are never to be used except for an expedited response (Request must come from an 01)

Focus on towing and traffic control as primary responsibilities.

Avoid spawning vehicles on-scene, as it is considered unrealistic roleplay. And may result in staff intervention.

Maintain a respectful and professional attitude towards all players.
